Mike Schroeder Bash

On Sunday January 27, the Mt. Zion Wrestling Club had eight wrestlers participate in the First Annual Mike Schroeder Bash in Danville, IL. With round 400 wrestlers there from all over Illinois and one wrestling team from Indiana, the competition was great. Out of 38 teams that were there the Mt. Zion Wrestling Club ended up 18th overall in the team standings. The results from the tournament were: 5-6 year olds: Andrew Wike – 5th place, Egan Bender – 6th place, Caden Owens – 6th place; 7-8 year olds: Bowan Bender – 7th place; 9-10 year olds: Ryan Scharf – 1st place, Jacob Morgan – 4th place; 11-12 year olds: Jake Eckenrod – 1st place, Cody Cannon – 4th place.
